This question has probably been asked before but….
Do you think that the influx of foreign players in the Premier League has caused the slow or even stopped the development of up and coming English players?
Don’t get me wrong the ‘game’ has become more exciting since some of these players came into English football.
But I would like to see more English players in the top flight of the game.
Opinions please?

Number of English players in the Premiership – declining
Number of Foreign players in the Premiership – increasing
Quality of clubs in the Premiership – marginally increasing
Quality of the national team – marginally declining.
Do the maths…. simple. Were not getting value either way. Our clubs are not returning trophies to justify the huge amounts spent on them or the large number of foreign ‘stars’ imported. And for the national team. Well its all heading south.
