How tough is it to get a ticket to a premier league game? Is it next to impossible? Show up at the stadium on gameday and expect to pay double to a scalper? Ask around at bars? Are there some towns that never sell out their stadium? Thanks.

i think it will be hard to score tickets to a Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool… (the elite team games). But i think you can get tickets to games like Reading, Fulham and other mid-level teams.

You could always go online, pick a team you like the sound of for example, Arsenal create a membership, (I think you have to be a Gold Member) and they normally offer you tickets. Or Pick a team in a lower league like Charlton Athletic…(Previous Premiership team, now playing in the Championship a league below) I know somebody that never has problems getting tickets to watch them… Or you could come down to my Local club next season, Bromley FC They play in the Blue Square South League… It’s £10 to get in, pay at the gate. Has great facilitys such as two great bars, lots of refreshment vans, great little football ground. And you would be warmly welcomed by all the supporters. :)

Most of the bigger clubs (and certainly Arsenal) allocate a small number of tickets for each match to overseas supporters club. I know up to 10 per match get allocated to Arsenal’s US Supporters club, so it may be worth starting there.

tough mate… the best way to get tickets is to arrange with a local football club in your home country…
