In the english football leauge, Is there a small team that has a very large and crazy fan base?
For example in the states, The Green Bay Packers are that team in the NFL, The Cubs are that team in the MLB. It sounds like plymouth arglye’s are that team in the english soccer.

Morgan
Chelsea FC.
Chelsea is not a big team compared to MU and Liverpool due to their history and reputation. But now Chelsea has a huge fanbase around the world because of the achievements the club managed to achieve in the last few years.

Millwall have the most feared fans for a club their size. A mostly unsuccessful and small team from the former dockland area of London that has a fanatical and loyal support.
You won’t find any locals wearing Manchester United or Chelsea shirts in Bermondsey. They all to a man, woman or child support Millwall.

I agree with Luke – Leeds Utd has a fanatical following, but financial problems have shrunk them to a League 1 side.

Yo, hilgy: You’re misleading our British cousins by saying the Cubs are a small team. They have one of the highest payrolls in baseball. They’re in the lovable losers category (haven’t won the so-called World Series since 1908, haven’t been in it since 1945), and they have the most beautiful park in all of baseball — so they do have fans everywhere, especially in Arizona (where they playepreseason games [spring training, y'all]) and Colorado (where they had a farm team). Oh, and being owned by a media giant with cable TV (WGN) hasn’t hurt their exposure (but it sure has hurt their lineup).
I’m a Cubs fan, Chicago born … and we’re OVER .500, AHEAD OF THE CARDINALS, and in FIRST PLACE, BABY!!

Define small. Because you cite Green Bay and the Cubs and the answers cite Man United and Chelsea. NONE of those teams are small so I want to know what the hell you’re asking?
Best answer I’ve heard is Leeds. Those poor fans have watched their team plummet to the brink of extinction and have never wavered in their support.
