millwall got to europe because man.u had already qualified
for the champions league through the premiership so the
runner up of the f.a cup then gets the place in europe

Either finish in top 6- Top 2 automatically qualify for Champions League, next 2 put into final qualifying stage where they must beat 1 team in a 2 leg match (home and away) to get into the Champions League. If they lose they divert to the Uefa Cup with the teams that finished 5th and 6th. Teams may also enter the Euro Vase. Euro Vase applications are made nearing the end of the season before and more than 1 team may apply. However, the team that finishes highest in the league will get into Euro Vase, and if the team wins the Euro Vase will qualify for Uefa Cup. Can also get into Uefa Cup by winning the F.A. Cup.
