There are no uniform black arm bands sanctioned by FIFA, however there is a universal acceptance for them as a sign of respect for a recent death.
The best approach is to make your own, even if it is black electrical tape that can be purchased at any hardware store. It’s more about the thought and motive behind wearing a black arm band than what it is actually made of.
I’m sure that the sentiment would be appreciated by the family and friends of the deceased.
Good on you for wanting to show your support for them.
