What do English football fans think of this Premier league two?

k i asked:

Me being a Rangers fan i think it would be great to play in a bigger and better league and the Money would be great meaning we could sign better players and we would enter the actual premier League and not the diddy version.

And it would be great to play against clubs like Chelsea,Man Utd,Liverpool and Arsenal week in week out it would also be good to play against clubs like Man City,Spurs,Everton and Newcastle(If they are still in the premier league that is)And as i said the money would be great make us a top club in the Premier league and the Champions League.

Bad things i don’t think Rangers fans and Celtic fans would like the fact of there club playing under the England flag.I think it would be alot better if the Scottish football league and English football League united as one to form a British League.

A British League would help put more money into Obvi Rangers and Celtic but also Scottish teams like Hibs,Hearts,Aberdeen,Motherwell and Dundde Utd.

Another bad thing what if it dosent work out and Rangers and Celtic are stuck in the diddy version of the Premier League with no hope of European football.I would prefer it if that happend we could return to scotland but i cant see that if we leave we leave.

Whats your thoughts ? do you think if the Old firm gets Millions pumped into there teams they could spilt your top 4 ?

i dont want to play in england, we’re a scottish team so why should we take any favours from england

if it did happen, with the money available in england we could split the top 4 after a few seasons

    I don’t like it
scottish teams should play in the scottish league and english in the english. anyway the old firm wouldn’t break the top 4
scottish teams lack even the quality of some arsenal players like denilson.
u can stay in scotland and continue winning the league every season

In terms of the Old Firm joining i’m totally against it, would there still be as much TV money going into the SPL without the two biggest teams, surely it would be bad for Scottish football!

As for the idea of a second Premiership Division, i’m in two minds about it, it would be good to spread the money down to some of the smaller teams, but even that money would only be for the top teams in the Championship who would be joining it, all the rest of the teams left down in the Football League would get even less money so it would probably mean more clubs going into administration and i fear the end of a lot of English teams!

As for your question about the Old Firm breaking the top four, its not just as simple as pumping millions of pounds in to the team, just look at Spurs, you need a good manager and a board who are willing to be patient, the most likely team to break in to the top four recently has been Everton and they are hardly known for breaking the bank are they!

But Scottish league is a weaker league and uniting them with the English Premier league would be just giving more Easy victories to the English teams.

Sure the Scottish league has good clubs like celtic and rangers but no where nere as good as Man U Chelsea Livrpool Arsenal Man City.

It really wouldn’t be the English Premier League if Scottish teams were to play in it.

Its a terrible idea. I have no problem with Scottish teams playing in England if they want to but they should start from the bottom like every other team has done. It would be ridiculously unfair if they were just given a place in the top flight. The rest of the idea is just as bad, it would kill off the smaller clubs. It would be far worse for English football than the formation of the Premiership was. If it ever happens I’ll only watch non league football.
