Has any one ever actually routed for Germany in Football?

Then, yesterday, I saw someone actually wearing a Germany shirt. At first I thought this was a joke, but he seemed to be quite serious, and I found nothing funny about him. Is he just going against the flow, or do people really support Germany?

my mates are germany supporters. i thought its funny, but i have to respect them.
