The points for some teams, only a few, do not add up to the correct amount; I believe the teams were penalized points for some reason. My question is what are some reasons that a team would be penalized points?
Follow-up question: what does it mean to enter administration or go into administration?”
Points deductions are the result of various offenses that a club commits. Teams that go into administration for example can be docked points. Another big reason that’s very popular is when teams get caught doing dodgy things like fixing matches. For this involvement many points will be deducted and in the case of Juventus in 2006 they were even relegated
