    Lex’s answer is correct, except it should be al and not el:
    Me gusta jugar AL fútbol irlandés.
    (though I don’t get why you specify that it’s irish, tbh. The Irish don’t play it differently than, say, the English or the Spanish… unless irish football is a different sport altogether, like rugby or something and I’m totally out of the loop ;) )
