For example:

(And) me as well —— (Y) yo tambien.

    Yo tambien (Me too)
    Yo tampoco (Me neither)
Or you can use a variation of me gusta if talking about things you like/don’t like, for example:
    Me gusta futbol!
    A mi me gusta tambien!

    Or
    Me gusta futbol
    A mi, no me gusta

    No me gusta futbol
    A mi tampoco

The only thing to watch with gusta forms is not to use Yo tambien with this. It is considered more proper to use A mi…me gusta/no me gusta/tampoco in this context. The A mi is to emphasize contrast between people or opinions.

Yo tambien/Yo tampoco can be used in other contexts though, such as I want to go to the movies Me too!
    Quiero ir al cine
    Yo tambien!

    OR
    No quiero ir al cine
    Yo tampoco

    It depends nathsh!

Do the following with gustar verbs (*): Always start with ‘A mí’, thus:
-Agree like this ‘A mí también’ (Me too)
-Agree to negative statements like this ‘A mí tampoco’ (me neither).

    1. A: Me gusta el fútbol. (I like football)
    B: A mí también. (I do too/ Me too)

    2. A: No me gusta el golf. (I don’t like golf)
    B: A mí tampoco. (Me neither/ I don’t like it either)

With other verbs, start with either ‘Yo también’ (me too) or ‘Yo tampoco’ (me neither)

    3. A: Vivo en Londres. (I live in London)
    B: Yo también. (Me too)

    4. A: No trabajo los domingos. (I don’t work on Sundays)
    B: Yo tampoco. (Me neither)

(*) These are some common ‘gustar’ verbs: encantar (to love), interesar (to find sth interesting), fascinar (to be fascinated by).

  4. William Says:

    Allison

    me too: yo tambien
    me neither: yo tampoco
    i do too: yo tambien

  5. Michael Says:

    Olivia

Me gusta futbol. a mi tambien. Yo tambien
No me gusta golf. Ni a mi

  6. Carter Says:

    Brian

Me too, I do too, I did too, I have too, etc – are all expressed by yo también

Me neither/neither do I/nor do I/nor have I/nor did I etc – are all yo tampoco or ni yo tampoco in Spanish.

  7. Brooke Says:

    Diego

    A: I like football. B: me too/I do too.
A: Me gusta el futbol B: A mí también

    A: I don’t like golf. B: me neither.
A: No me gusta el golf B: A mí tampoco

Usually me too, I do too is Yo también, but the verb gustar is a bit different.

Me neither is usually Yo tampoco
