Why is this called the 2006 FIFA World Cup Section?

I was joking about the Scottish Football but the Brazilian and Argentinian sections should be merged into South American Football or something, cause a question gets asked there once every 3 days.

International Football is a good idea and it would never become an anachronism. I think this would encourage more users.
99% is just untrue, the trolls operate here too, as many know to their cost.
Scottish Section is not somewhere I like to hang out, but it is well subscribed to. As for Brazil and Argentina sections – well nobody is twisting your arm up your back to make you visit them.

ONLY IF THEY MAKE IT A 2 WEEK TOURNIMENT
they never last longer then 2-3 weeks max
AND THE WORLD CUP IS 4 WEEK LONG

The reason it’s still 2006 Fifa Section :
Trinidad Tobago were in that World Cup and no one knows when next they will be there, so they are keeping it up for some time.
